Delete your account
How to delete your Aroundstay and Hudson app account, what is deleted and what is kept.
This page explains how to delete your Aroundstay account, which is also your account in the Hudson app (developer: Aroundstay).
Delete it yourself
- In the Hudson app, tap My bookings at the top. On the website, go to My bookings. Sign in with your email address if you are asked.
- Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete my account, or go straight to crm.aroundstay.com/me/delete.
- Tick the box to confirm and press Delete my account. It happens straight away, and we email you to confirm.
If you have a stay coming up, cancel it first or wait until you have checked out: you need the account to see, change or cancel that booking.
Or ask us
If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We do it within 7 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, name, mobile number and sign-in details, including passkeys
- Your preferences and everything you told Hudson
- Your conversations with Hudson
- Your saved searches, saved places and day plans
- The record of who invited you
What is kept, and for how long
- Records of bookings you have completed or cancelled (hotel, dates, price, the name, email and phone number the booking was made in, and the provider's reference): six years after the stay, because accounting law requires it and so that any refund or dispute can still be dealt with. They are no longer linked to an account.
- Introducers: if you also introduce guests to us, your introducer record and payment history are kept for as long as tax law requires, so we can pay what you are owed. Ask us if you want it closed.
- Security logs (IP addresses and pages requested): deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Voice clips are never kept in the first place: each one is deleted as soon as it has been turned into text.
Only want some of it gone?
On the My bookings page you can delete just your preferences and conversations with Hudson, or single saved searches, and keep your account. Removing the app from your phone clears what the app keeps on the phone, but does not delete your account.
Our privacy notice has the full detail of what we keep and why.
